The "New" Offtime
|
Offtime is an Alliance morning raid guild located on US-Terenas. We have been around since WoW 1.0 and are one of the few guilds that have survived all three expansion transitions. Offtime has undergone many transformations throughout the years. At one point, Offtime was the #1 25 man raiding guild in the world for our time slot. However, raiding at that level tends to turn raiding into more work than play. In our current evolution, we have made the choice to extract some of the restraints we have previously operated under. We are restructuring, revitalizing, and breathing new life into Offtime. We are now striving to put some of the "fun" back into WoW. :)
We are a semi-causal raiding guild with a hardcore raiding ethic. This means, that while we pursue a relaxed raiding schedule we aim to make the most of the time we have. We have a dedicated core of players and are looking to fill out our roster with some skilled and committed talent. Our primary goal is 10 man with a focus on moving quickly and efficiently through content while maintaining our position as a premier morning raiding guild.
Our current raid schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 A.M PST(8 A.M. Sever) to 10:00 A.M. PST(11 A.M Server). There is a possiblity that we will expand this schedule to include Mondays and/or an additional hour on each raid day.
Requirements for Offtime are that you maintain 2/3 days attendance, have a complete understanding of your class and spec with the ability to play it to its maximum potential, come to raids prepared with all necessary consumables (I.E: Flasks, potions, elixirs and stat food as well as appropriate gems and enchants) this preparation also includes fully researching all encounters in advance. You must have a great attitude, ability to follow directions, and an overall strong desire to raid and contribute. You must have ventrillo with a working mic. All standard raid addons such as Ora, Omen, Bossmods ECT. We use an Open Roll (MS>OS)/Loot Council gear distribution system.
